The place also enjoys a temperate climate all year round . Also here there is one of the most important fossil deposits of Chile in highlighting numerous remains of marine vertebrates whose old data is estimated at between 16 million years and 1.7 million years which would correspond to the geological age of the Miocene and Plioceno.2 Among the most important fossils found at the site is a copy of Pelagornis chilensis , a seabird of more than five meters wingspan .
